The National Screen Institute’s TikTok Accelerator for Indigenous Creators program is accepting applications to provide free online training to support Indigenous creators’ careers. In past years, the program has accepted 40 participants, while this year there are 300 available slots.

Adventure Canada is running an Inuit training program to employ Inuit in the tourism industry on northern cruises and guided tours. The program is an effort for Inuit to take ownership over how Inuit knowledge is shared. The Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators partners with the Adventure Canada programs and reports that there is higher operator demand than available candidates.

The Nunavut government is accepting applications for funding for training, education, and product and infrastructure development through its Community Tourism and Cultural Industries program.
