The Qinnirvik Country Food and Bulk Store in Iqaluit has opened for business. The store offers locally-harvested food that it acquires in partnership with hunters, as well as produce and other grocery items. The store uses a sliding scale to keep prices low and improve local food security.
Manitoba Innovates, an organization created by Manitoba Technology Accelerator and Tech Manitoba, has recently launched. The organization aims to support local entrepreneurs and jobs by connecting startups with business development resources and funding opportunities.
