We hire self-motivated, team-minded individuals with a strong work ethic, integrity and a commitment to client service.We are seeking a permanent, full-time experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Moncton office to provide legal support to lawyers in the Litigation practice group.SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:Review, organize and analyze documents, draft summary reports, pleadings, motions, affidavit of documents and chronologies;Input and manage files electronically with the use of litigation support software and provide status updates;Cross reference documents for discovery, e-discovery and/or trial exhibits;Assist lawyers with trial preparation and attending court when necessary;Record all billable and non-billable functions on a daily basis; andOther related clerical duties as required.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Spoken and written proficiency in English is a must and bilingualism is considered an asset;Successful completion of an accredited Paralegal Diploma Program or equivalent, combined with 1 - 2 years' experience as a Litigation Paralegal;Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced working environment;Highly organized, with the ability to manage and track multiple files at once;Excellent proofreading, spelling and grammar skills, attention to detail is a must; andTeam focused, self-starter with the ability to work independently.Cox & Palmer provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits:100% Employer paid premiums for individual or family health and dental benefits;Pension with matching employer contribution and Tax-Free Savings Account (TFSA) program;Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP);Health & Wellness programs including customized online resource platform;Personal Spending Allowance (PSA)Corporate rates on gym memberships, home/auto insurance, hotel and car rentals;"Smart casual" dress policy; andVacation, sick, and personal time allowances.This position will remain posted until successfully filled.
