*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and organized Storekeeper to join our team. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring that all supplies are stored properly. This role is crucial in supporting the overall operations of our facility by ensuring that materials are available when needed and that the storage area is kept orderly and efficient. *Responsibilities* * Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods to ensure quality and quantity meet specifications. * Organize and maintain inventory in a systematic manner for easy access and tracking. * Monitor stock levels and place orders for replenishment as necessary. * Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy of stock records. * Prepare items for shipment or distribution as required. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage area to promote safety and efficiency. * Assist in the implementation of inventory management systems and procedures. * Collaborate with other departments to fulfill supply needs promptly. *Qualifications* * High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management is a plus. * Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role preferred. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. * Ability to operate inventory management software and basic computer applications. * Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as needed. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Basic math skills for inventory tracking and reporting. * A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and improving processes.
