Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Fruit and vegetable combination farming. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Horticultural field crop. Potato and vegetable. Tree and orchard fruit. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots. Greenhouse cleaning. Tie and secure plants. Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality. Weeding. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Budding trees. Cut horticultural crops. Hand harvesting vegetables. Supervision: 5-10 people. Type of crops: Apples. Bell peppers. Cauliflowers. Cherries. Cucumbers. Garlic. Grapes. Onions. Tomatoes. Zucchinis. Equipment and machinery experience: Fertilizer applicator. Tractor.
