Education: Master's degree. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Counsel students regarding educational, career or vocational issues. Counsel students regarding personal and social issues. Consult with teachers, parents, administrators and community agencies. Co-ordinate the provision of counselling and information services to students, parents and teachers. Administer and interpret standardized intelligence, aptitude and interest tests. Develop guidance and counselling programs. Arrange for recruitment of graduating students by employers. Supervise field experience for graduate students in clinical and counselling areas. Advise students on course selection and on vocational and personal matters. Counselling specialization: Academic program or credit evaluation. At risk students. Personal or life skills management. Area of specialization: Mental health.
