The Mill Bay Marine Group is looking for a Part-Time Accounting Assistant ? 12-month Maternity Leave Relief position
You will be working out of our Mill Bay head office and be required to assist our Accounting Team for the 8 locations that we operate throughout British Columbia.
This position is expected to start on February 1st, 2025 and to last for a 12-month period.
*THE ROLE*
As the Accounting Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role within the administration team.
*Responsibilities*
-Data entry using QuickBooks Enterprise for 8 divisions.
-Enter, reconcile, and audit intercompany transactions
-Assist the Administration Manager with journal entries
*Qualifications*
· Experience with QuickBooks is required.
· Intermediate accounting skills and familiarity with GAAP.
· Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage and prioritize competing demands.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Proficiency in intermediate Microsoft Excel functions.
· English language proficiency.
