We are seeking a Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! We are located in downtown Oakville. Areas of practice include real estate, estates, business, corporate, Wills/Powers of Attorneys, and general matters. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth running of the daily office operations and effective file management.
Hybrid position.. must have the ability to work from home and occasionally attend at the office.
must be able to draft Wills and Powers of Attorney with minimal assistance.
Prepare Estate applications from beginning to end
*Responsibilities:*
* Familiar with legal programs, Teraview, Unity as asset, but not necessary
* Client communication
* Drafting Wills/POA?s, Estate Applications,
* Record and store client information
*Qualifications:*
* Previous experience as a legal assistant
* Ability to prioritize and multitask
* Familiarity with law, legal procedures, administration and protocols
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Deadline and detail-oriented
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday
