Qulliq Energy Corp has hired two contractors to begin replacing three Nunavut power plants in 2025-2026. Yellowknife-based Adco Power Ltd. will build the $50.2M plant in Cambridge Bay. B2Gold Mine’s Kitikmeot gold mine has received approval for wind and solar projects to reduce the mine’s carbon emissions.
