*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Office Assistant (Part-time) to join our healthcare team. This position is perfect for someone looking to gain valuable healthcare experience while working in a supportive environment. *Duties* * Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere * Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently * Prepare and update patient records accurately using electronic health record systems * Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks * Provide patient care support by answering questions and providing instructions as needed * Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the medical office environment * Handle administrative duties such as patient correspondence and invoicing * Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations *Requirements* * Prior hospital or clinical experience is highly preferred * Prior experience with Accuro EMR preferred * Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures * Experience with patient care activities and basic medication administration is desirable * Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient interactions * Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail * Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility during clinic hours * Certification or training related to healthcare support is a plus but not mandatory Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour Benefits: * Flexible schedule Work Location: In person- Location Saskatoon, SK
