Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders). Early intervention programming for at-risk youth. Tasks: Administrative and office activities. Appraise clients' needs or eligibility for specific services. Perform administrative tasks. Implement life skills workshops. Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs. Develop, co-ordinate and implement the delivery of specific services within the community. Implement behaviour management programs. Organize, activities such as games and outings for children. Participate in fundraising activities. Develop prevention and intervention programs to meet community needs. Encourage children to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity. Supervision: 3-4 people. Working groups. Staff in various areas of responsibility. Target audience: Adolescents. Type of media: Advertising or communications.
