Position: General Machinist Duration: Full time, Permanent Location: Burlington, On Overview & Qualifications: Industrial Machinist Trade Certificate required (429A) Must be familiar with using production tools such as dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, MIG/TIG welding equipment, waterjet, shear & brake press. Experience working with Stainless Steel, Aluminum or specialty metals, alloys & plastics is a benefit. Ability to Read & interpret mechanical drawings, tooling drawings & work-process documentation. Build precision dies, tools & prototypes using conventional & numerically controlled metal-cutting & forming machines & other equipment including saws, drills, grinders, lathes, mills, die presses & electrical discharge machines. Competent in work piece measurement using specialized & precision tools / equipment.- LocationBurlington, ON
