The Accountant will be responsible for the full cycle of accounts receivable including invoicing, customer statements and cash flow reporting. On a bi-weekly basis, the Accountant will be responsible for processing payroll. During month end, the Accountant will be a key contributor by completing balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and preparing financial reports. *What will you be working on?* · Confirm and process wholegood and parts invoices daily · Monitor overdue accounts and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment · Monitor and forecast cash flow requirements through daily reporting & bank reconciliations · Record accounting entries and reconcile GL accounts in a timely manner for month end · Assist in preparation of month end reports · Prepare and file government remittances · Process bi-weekly payroll for all staff including hourly and salary employees · Other accounting tasks as required *What is required for this role?* · Accounting degree or diploma · 3-5 years direct work experience · Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel · Strong attention to detail and accuracy · Ability to maintain confidential information Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Experience: * Accounting: 3 years (required) Work Location: In person
