Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Act as a link between communities and a range of other local authority and voluntary sector providers
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis in the areas of social policy
  • Conduct research relating to climate, environmental conditions, urban development and population in geographical regions
  • Prepare maps, graphs and other visual tools for displaying geographical information
  • Study and analyse the spatial distribution and interrelationship of physical, biological, cultural and social patterns
  • Provide consulting services to government and other organizations
