*Position Overview:* Our *Experienced Wall Panel Designers* are responsible for designing wall panel systems for multi-family and commercial projects using *MiTek Sapphire Software*. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be tasked with preparing wall panel layouts, design drawings, and quotes, while ensuring all designs meet structural requirements and building codes. The Wall Panel Designer will assist with reviewing design work and conducting feasibility analyses for wall panel construction plans. This position also includes a strong customer service component, perfect for someone who enjoys engaging with the construction industry. We are looking for an individual with both knowledge and experience who is dedicated to delivering excellent customer service to our clients.

* Ability to communicate and enforce adherence to local and national building codes and structural engineering requirements.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Efficient and able to meet deadlines.
* Ability to learn, adapt, and apply new technologies and practices.
* Ability to set realistic objectives.
*Responsibilities:*
* Develop accurate wall panel designs and layouts based on customer specifications, building codes, and company standards.
* Collaborate with project managers, clients, and production teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and installation.
* Utilize design software (e.g., MiTek) to create detailed wall panel drawings and construction documents.
* Conduct thorough reviews of designs to ensure compliance with structural requirements and industry standards.
* Manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring timely delivery of design packages.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance to sales and production teams.
* Communicate effectively with Sales staff and clients regarding the technical aspects of projects.
* Work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing deadlines.
*Qualifications:*
* 5+ years of experience in wall panel design within the construction or building materials industry.
* Proficiency in MiTek, AutoCAD, or other relevant design software.
* Strong understanding of building codes, structural design principles, and construction materials.
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and reliable designs.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
