<p></p><br><div>POSITION DESCRIPTION:</div><p>Our welcoming Le Domaine Harmonie residence located in Boucherville is currently looking for a Maintenance Director. <BR><BR>The Maintenance Director is responsible for coordinating maintenance and upkeep activities in the residence. He/she is responsible for requisitions, emergency calls and ensures that the place is clean and safe for residents. He/she also performs various tasks related to the maintenance of the building such as painting, plastering, laying ceramic tiles, small carpentry jobs, changing light fixtures or faucets and various installations.<BR>As part of his/her duties, he/she may be required to lift heavy loads.<BR><BR>Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, during the day, from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Weekends as needed. The person must be available at all times in case of emergency.</p><br><div>ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</div><ul><li>At all times, ensure compliance with WHMIS standards as well as health and safety rules for employees and residents</li><li>Carry out maintenance on air conditioning, ventilation and heating equipment in the residence</li><li>Ensure efficient customer service that meets their needs</li><li>Ensure vacant apartments are clean and in excellent condition before next rentals</li><li>Integrate, train and evaluate your staff</li><li>Manage requisitions and respond to emergencies</li><li>Mobilize, manage and coordinate the work of the residence upkeep and maintenance team</li><li>Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and take charge of monitoring expenses</li><li>Perform all other tasks related to his duties and at the request of his immediate superior.</li><li>Plan, organize and control maintenance work, including subcontracted work</li><li>Prepare preliminary submissions for maintenance and repair projects that must be given externally</li><li>Take inventory of products and materials, and place necessary orders on time</li></ul><div>EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:</div><ul><li>Professional training in general building maintenance (an asset)</li><li>Occupational health and safety training</li><li>WHMIS training</li><li>Minimum experience of 5 years in minor manual work (painting, electricity, carpentry, plumbing)</li><li>Experience in personnel management</li></ul><div>BENEFITS:</div><ul><li>Cellular provided</li><li>Computer is provided</li><li>Uniform provided</li><li>Free parking</li><li>To be discussed</li><li>Social leave</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Social Club activities, gifts and substantial discounts</li><li>Human management approach</li><li>Floating leave and family obligations</li><li>Stimulating challenges, up to your ambitions!</li><li>Consistent schedule</li><li>Recognition program</li><li>A welcoming and tight-knit team!</li></ul><div>JOB STATUS:</div><div>Permanent: Full Time</div><div>JOB SCHEDULE:</div><div>Day time</div>
