You live for improving and optimizing the performance of websites through effective and functional user experience design. You?re passionate about the entire design process, from technical architecture and customer journey mapping, to A/B testing and UX best practices. You work well in collaboration with Product Management, Business and Development teams to create user flows, wireframe-out ideas and turn them into effective experiences that drive business results. You have experience in optimizing for eCommerce, and are an expert in the field of UX design. You actively provide your expertise and support to make the customer experience the best it can be. You are an exceptional communicator, collaborator, influencer and mentor with proven ability to lead teams. And you thrive in coaching and developing UI and UX designers to achieve - both for the business and for their professional development. *Responsibilities:* * Lead and define the UX Design Process within a collaborative and Agile environment. * Lead the user research strategy to define research methodologies and participate in user testing or fieldwork and the presentation of findings as required. * Have a strong understanding of research methods and actively use them to get to the answers you need to make great design decisions. * Create project deliverables that clearly communicate the experience strategy, and rationale behind it, including sketches, wireframes, mocks, flows, IA, personas, discovery findings, and prototypes. * Lead, mentor and regularly provide directional guidance and feedback to the design team. * Partner with designers to ensure the overarching experience is consistent with other UX efforts and knowledge is being shared, help define new patterns. * Actively collaborate with Product Managers to strategize, and deeply understand business and product goals. * Collaborate with developers to understand technical limitations and partner on solutions. * Stay on top of industry trends, and evaluate innovative design approaches to develop internal innovation and engaging solutions. * Actively contribute to design criticism culture, thinking of new ways to help level up design across team. * Lead working sessions, presentations and reviews while gracefully reacting to criticism and clearly articulating the arguments for and against a solution. *Skills & Qualifications:* * Three or more years of UX Design and User Research experience. * Demonstrated experience in designing for ecommerce. * Demonstrated experience in Responsive Web Design. * Demonstrated knowledge of user research best practices & strategies * Demonstrated experience in data driven design practices. * Expertise in UX software such as Figma * Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus. * Ability to work both in a team and independently. * Ability to successfully design in an Agile/Scrum development environment. *Ideal Candidate: *No relocation or sponsorships.
