*Job Summary* We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our accounting practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multi location restaurant accounting/ bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a comprehensive understanding of budgeting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes. *Duties* * Manage daily bookkeeping work for group of companies * Full cycle accounting including accounts payable and accounts receivable * Review and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts * Ensure accurate cash management of all bank accounts, analysis of transactions and credit card * management * Prepare intercompany transactions * Execute month-end general ledger close ensuring timelines are met * ?Review and file of GST/HST filings * Support with the year-end audit process and provide related document requests * Who we?re looking for! * Independently develop solutions in response to ad hoc requests; * ?Manage own time to ensure work effort is aligned with company priorities and goals; * ?A person who can think creatively and performance driven and excels in a team-based * environment; * A person who can focus and prioritize and work well under pressure; * A person who enjoys a challenge and never satisfied with how things are currently done *Requirements* * 3-4 Years progressive accounting experience * Accounting degree or diploma * Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks Online is essential. * Strong knowledge of account analysis, budgeting practices, payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management. * Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. * Exceptional communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels. * ?Understanding and knowledge of accounting principals, practices and standards * ?Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Experience in Dext, SaasTransant, Google workplace is a benefit We invite qualified candidates who are passionate about accounting to apply for this exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization?s success.
