*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Network Technician to join our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing computer systems and network infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems and networking protocols to ensure optimal performance and security of our technology resources. *Duties* * Coordinate access and use of computer networks * Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks and computer workstations and peripheral equipment * Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks * Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating systemsoftware * Provide problem-solving services to network users * Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations * Set up local area networks and connections to the Internet * Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems *Experience* * Proven experience as a Computer Technician or in a similar role within IT support. * Familiarity with windows and Mac based operating systems * Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds is preferred. * Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. * Strong communication skills to effectively assist users with varying levels of technical expertise. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay * Overtime pay Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Morning shift * On call * Overtime * Weekends as needed Education: * Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2024-12-31- LocationFort McMurray, AB
