We?re looking for an *Architectural Technologist* to join our talented team. We?re looking for both Junior level and Intermediate level skillsets ? so if you?re newly graduated or if you?re looking for a change in career, we want to hear from you!
Robinson Residential Design is all about high-quality, full-service residential design. We are locally owned and operated and have been designing buildings across North America for over 30 years! *What you?ll be doing:*
- *Design Drafting & Detailing:* Prepare high-quality design drawings and detailed plans for a variety of projects, including residential, multi-family, renovations, and additions.
- *Technical Drafting:* Develop precise construction drawings and detailing.
- *Code & Bylaw Compliance:* Ensure designs align with zoning regulations, building codes, and evolving construction standards by maintaining up-to-date industry knowledge.
- *Site Measurements & As-Built Documentation:* Assist with on-site measurements and draft into accurate as-built drawings.
- *Consultative Communication:* Engage in team focused communication with internal teams and clients to ensure project alignment and success.
- *Additional Responsibilities*: Support the team with other tasks as assigned, leveraging your unique skills and experience to contribute to overall success of projects.
*What we?re looking for:*
- Diploma in *Architectural Technologies* or similar from an accredited Canadian institution.
- A team player, who is self-motivated and can work independently and as part of the team!
- High attention to detail and a keen sense of accountability.
- Creative, original thinking & the ability to innovate original ideas or solutions!
- Coachability ? a willingness and eagerness to learn new skills.
- Top-notch communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (necessity) and Revit (bonus, but not required)
