CPHC invites applications for a Brokered Lifeline Technician who is interested in providing services on behalf of CPHC Lifeline focused in the Kingston to Gananoque area.
The Brokered Lifeline Technician, under the direction of the Lifeline Manager, will primarily be responsible for installing service and trouble shoot Lifeline systems in client homes. The Technician must demonstrate an aptitude for learning new technologies, must work systematically and efficiently, and must demonstrate a high level of integrity and work ethic. The Technician will install, service, explain and teach clients how to use the service and complete required paper-work. We provide training opportunities to learn to install, explain, service and troubleshoot the most current Lifeline solutions as well as new technologies as they are introduced.
Qualifications
* Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* Well-developed time management and organization skills
* Strong technical background in technology and repairs
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
* Experience working with the elderly and with cognitively impaired individuals
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening
* Available to travel, reliable vehicle and valid driver?s license (full class "G"), $2,000,000 liability insurance coverage
* Must be available weekdays during office hours
_The Brokered Lifeline Installer is not an employee of CPHC. There is no guarantee of hours. Tasks will be assigned and hours pre-approved by the office as required. The successful candidate will self-schedule all assigned installation and service appointments within a specific time frame. Training will be provided._
