Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work setting: Commercial. Prefab/shop fabrication. Residential. Sidewalks and curbs. Tasks: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete. Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification. Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools. Instruct apprentices. Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures. Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces. Waterproof, damp proof and restore surfaces. Repair, resurface and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Cement Finisher Trade Certification. Type of materials: Colours and sealers. Hardners and epoxies. Light weight concrete. Mastic flooring. Reinforcing membrane and protective covering. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own tools/equipment: Tools.
