*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team on job sites. *Responsibilities* * Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites. * Load and unload materials and equipment. * Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. * Follow instructions from supervisors and project managers. * Help with the installation of structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, flooring, and trim. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on-site. *Experience* * Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred * Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus. * Ability to follow directions accurately and work as part of a team. * Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods. * Willingness to learn new skills and techniques in the construction field. * Load, unload and transport construction materials * Perform pre-operational inspection * Read blueprints to determine work requirements * Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades * Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures. * Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs * Assist in demolishing buildings * Clean and pile salvaged materials * Perform routine maintenance work * Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants * Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites * Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction Join our team as a Construction Worker, where your contributions will help build quality projects while gaining valuable experience in the industry. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime * Weekends as needed Education: * AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required) Experience: * construction: 5 years (required) Language: * English (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person
