We?re a tight knit group of nice people, with a focus on creating quality products and delivering an excellent customer experience. *Position Overview:* We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to design, build, and optimize a dynamic WordPress website with advanced integrations and scripting. The ideal candidate will work on developing responsive, user-friendly WordPress sites, integrating complex forms, 3rd party APIs, and implementing custom scripts. A strong focus on SEO optimization, A/B testing, and site performance optimization is essential. *Key Responsibilities:* *1) Website Development and Scripting* * Design and develop dynamic WordPress websites with clean, modular, and scalable code. * Write and optimize custom scripts using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies to enhance website functionality. * Implement custom themes and plugins to meet project requirements. * Integrate and customize complex forms using plugins (e.g., Gravity Forms, WPForms) and custom scripting for user interactions. * Ensure seamless integration of 3rd party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, CRM tools, marketing platforms). *2) Optimization and SEO* * Conduct website performance optimization for speed and efficiency using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, etc. * Implement and monitor SEO best practices, including meta tags, structured data, and content optimization for search engines. * Work on A/B testing strategies using tools like Google Optimize, Hotjar, or Optimizely to improve user experience and conversion rates. * Perform regular cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure responsiveness and compatibility. *3) Deployment Pipelines and Automation* * Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating deployment processes. * Set up tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar for version control and automated deployments. * Streamline staging-to-production workflows to ensure smooth feature releases with minimal downtime. * Automate code testing, build processes, and security checks during deployment. * Use containerization tools (e.g., Docker) where applicable to ensure consistent environments for development, testing, and production. *4) Maintenance and Support* * Monitor and troubleshoot site issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks. * Provide regular updates, security patches, and backups for WordPress websites. * Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure smooth deployment of updates and campaigns. *Qualifications:* * Be a kind person who is nice to be around. * 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience. * Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design techniques. * Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development (custom or advanced customization). * Hands-on experience integrating 3rd party APIs and working with tools like RESTful APIs, JSON, and AJAX. * Strong understanding of SEO principles and tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush. * Familiarity with A/B testing platforms and implementing experiments for optimization. * Experience with scripting and automation to improve workflow efficiency. * Knowledge of performance optimization techniques (e.g., caching, image optimization, lazy loading). * Experience with version control systems like Git / Mercurial. * Ability to troubleshoot and optimize WordPress sites for speed, security, and scalability. * Knowledge of SQL and database queries *Preferred Skills:* * Experience with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor) and Gutenberg blocks. * Experience with tools like Cloudflare, CDN setups, and hosting optimizations. * Familiarity with marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Mailjet, etc.). *Why Join Us?* * Opportunity to
