Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. Mobile crane operation/operator. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Noisy. Work setting: Construction site. Tasks: Calculate crane capacities . Measure weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting. Operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials. Perform pre-operational inspection. Clean and lubricate cranes. Perform routine maintenance work. Type of cranes: Climbing crane, fixed or limited mobility. Hydraulic or telescoping boom. Overhead crane. Equipment and machinery experience: Crane. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination.
