Bridges and Structures Carpenter Job Summary The Bridge and Structures Carpenter is responsible for receiving daily direction from the Bridge and Structures Foreman or as designated by Bridges and Structures Supervisor. The incumbent is accountable for maintaining bridges, culverts, retaining walls and related structures. Major Responsibilities Perform repairs to bridges, culverts, retaining walls and related structures Perform concrete work including form erection, reinforcement installation, mixing and finishing Perform steel work including welding, fabricating, bolting, rivet busting, torch cutting and erecting Perform timber work including framing and fastening Perform physical labor Operate hand and power tools as well as heavy equipment Read and comprehend blueprints Estimate material quantities Measure, calculate angles and cut material Respond to emergency calls Working Conditions The role requires- LocationMoncton, NB
