*Job Summary* The Renaissance is a boutique retirement residence that provides independent living, meals, and weekly housekeeping for independent seniors. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain cleanliness and organization in a retirement residence setting, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents. This role requires strong time management skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. *Responsibilities* * Perform thorough cleaning of resident suites and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces. * Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and neatly presented. * Organize and tidy living areas, bedrooms, kitchens, and bathrooms to maintain a clean and orderly home. * Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences. * Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated schedules. * Uphold high standards of hospitality through attention to detail in all cleaning tasks. *Experience* * Previous experience is great but not required. A kind personality and a willingness to learn is much more important * Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. * Proficiency in English is required * A friendly demeanor with excellent communication skills to foster positive resident relationships. Staff meal included! Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Expected hours: 18 ? 23 per week Schedule: * Day shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationEsquimalt, BC
