Currently, we are searching for a full-time *Front Desk Manager.*
This position may include the AM and PM shifts at the front desk (including training for Night Audit).
Please note: _*Candidates must already reside in the Medicine Hat area.*_
*Your Role:*
As a *Front Desk Manager*, not only will you be able to shape and manage front desk operations, you will often be the first point of contact for our valued guests. You?ll provide exceptional customer service to both our associates and guests. You will lead by example and address guest concerns with professionalism and efficiency. As the face of the Best Western Premier, your role will set the tone for the guest and employee experience.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Provide a warm welcome and check-in/check-out guests with ease.
* Answer inquiries and resolve guest concerns, ensuring 100% satisfaction.
* Manage reservations, phone calls, and emails professionally and efficiently.
* Assist with administrative duties and hotel tasks as needed.
* Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and standards to ensure smooth operations.
* *Train for Night Audit*: Work closely with the Night Audit team and develop skills to manage end-of-day procedures, reconciliations, and reporting.
* Train new and experienced Front Desk Associates, drawing upon your subject matter expertise of front desk operations, revenue management, hotel sales, and customer service to instill a culture of service excellence.

* *Experience:* Previous Front Desk Management, customer service or hospitality experience is required.
*Front Desk Manager requirements and qualifications*
* 2 years of experience as Front Desk Agent or similar role in a branded hotel
* Hands on experience with office machines (for example fax, printer etc.)
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
* Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company?s success
* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
* Team player
* Good time-management skills
* Great interpersonal and communication skills
* Customer-oriented mindset
* High School diploma; any additional diploma will be considered as advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $19.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
