We're adding new members to our Squire family! We are searching for an experienced full-time line chef. Ye Olde Squire is a small, locally owned pub with a team who feels like family and regulars we adore. At the Squire we cook fresh food made from scratch. A mix of weekday, evening and weekend shifts are available and we're closed on Holidays. We are looking for fun and hardworking people who have an appreciation of this industry. Cheers! *Requirements* * The ideal line cook is motivated, result-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day * Food handling and preparation knowledge * Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers * Successfully thrive in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work a flexible schedule (must be available to work days, evenings, and weekends) * Ability to work as part of a team * *3+ year experience in food service/hospitality (required)* * Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred) * Ability to work independently * Works well under pressure * Previous experience in a full-service restaurant is an asset *Job Responsibilities* * Monitor daily prep production of food * Prepare, and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements * Knowledge of company food specifications and plating * Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation * Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently * Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes *Job Type:* full-time Qualified candidates are welcome and encouraged to submit their resume.
