*Job title: Intermediate Bookkeeper*
*Roles and Responsibilities*
Provide exceptional customer service to clients
* Set up and maintain financial records using a computerized bookkeeping system
* Ability to prepare and submit tax remittance forms for HST, EHT, WSIB and payroll remittances
* Understand and prepare payroll with various pay types (ie. salary and hourly)
* Reconcile various types of accounts, (ie. credit card, bank) of books
* Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books
* Enter supplier invoices and prepare cheques for accounts payable
* Reconcile accounts payable to vendor statements
* Enter customer invoices and apply payments for accounts receivable
* Applying payments for accounts receivable
* Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
* Support the team with training and development
* Stay current with technology
*Skill Set and Education Requirements*
* 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping
* Advanced QBO certification
* Proficiency in various accounting software, ie. QBDT, QBO, Xero, Sage 50
* Understand and experience with various Fintec Apps ie. Hubdoc, Receipt Bank, Shogo, Plooto
* Demonstrated ability to work with multiple client files
* Ability to work under pressure and prioritize functions
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with staff and clients
* Desire and ability to continuously learn
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $49,432.00-$53,153.00 per year
