\*Job Summary\* We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental staff in providing quality oral healthcare to patients. \*Position\* We are looking for a Part Time Dental Assistant. Ideally this would be one position, but can consider breaking into two positions if I can find two candidates to match the schedule. Looking for: Monday, Thursday, Friday, and 2-3 Saturdays a month. \*Duties\* - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental x-rays - Polish teeth - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Maintain accurate patient records \*Requirements\* - Certification in Dental Assisting, Active registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants - Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask - Able to work well with the staff. Job Type: Part-time Expected hours: 28 ? 35 per week Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Day shift * Weekends as needed Licence/Certification: * active registration with CADA (required) Work Location: In person- LocationEdmonton, AB
