Our mechanics work on light fleet vehicles, school buses, plow trucks and heavy equipment. This work is vital to keep the Provinceâ??s fleet safely on the road. What you will doAs a member of the Vehicle Management Agency, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of automotive and related equipment. Work environmentOffice location: St. Stephen Repair Facility 40-hour work week, with variable hours, including, evenings and weekends, when required. We promote a scent-reduced environment. Some travel within the region will be required.Who you areKey behavioural competenciesAnalytical Thinking/Judgment Concern for Order Results OrientationEssential qualificationsPossession of Journeyperson's certificates in the Automotive Service Technician (AST) and the Truck and Transport (T&T) trades as issued by the Province of New Brunswick. Valid Class 5 driver license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.Please attach a copy of your certificates with your application.Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration. Résumés should be in chronological order specifying education and employment in months and years including part-time and full-time employment.
