The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Job Description:KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESLeverage deep technology expertise to deliver automated solutions to build, test, release and deploy applications and infrastructure.Maintain knowledge of tools and processes used by the development teams and tech stacks that we support (ex. Java, Python, JavaScript, ADB/Jupyter notebooks).Collaborate with our team and other teams as part of a larger initiative to deliver infrastructure changes to a complex, cloud-native, data pipeline ecosystem.Breakdown technical requirements into detailed implementation plans and execute those plans with the team.Maintain knowledge of best practices and policies.Become a subject matter expert in continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) practices for the systems we support.Become a subject matter expert for the underlying infrastructure of systems we support including how infrastructure is deployed, how it is configuration and what external dependencies it has.Help identify requirement gaps and help flush out detailed requirements to effectively deliver changes to the system.Maintain knowledge of engineering strategy as it relates to enterprise pipelines and automation of build, test, release and deployment of applications and infrastructure.May interact with governance and control groups, (e.g., regulatory / operational risk, compliance and audit) to provide subject matter expertise and consult on risk issues related to engineering technology and tools.KEY QUALITIES:Provide technical leadership within the team and with our partners, helping guide solutions from inception to implementation.Continuously enhance knowledge and keep current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.Openly share knowledge and progress with our team and leadership.Manage multiple concurrent assignments.Break down and troubleshoot complex problems.Clearly communicate complex concepts and solutions, verbally and written.Maintain a balance between delivering quality results and meeting timelines.Flexible to adjust to changing priorities.Flexible to support after-hours deployments and on-call shifts as required.Collaborate with and support other team members.Identifies opportunities for improvement (technical and process).KEY TECHNICAL SKILLS:Expert knowledge in continuous integration and continuous delivery processes and tools.Expert Git and source control management skills (ex. pull requests, merging), preferably with Bitbucket and/or GitHub.Experience deploying Azure infrastructure through CI/CD pipelines.Experience deploying and working with 1 or more of these Azure services is preferred: Data Factory, Data Bricks, Data Lake Storage, Machine Learning, SQL, Synapse, OpenAI, AI SearchExperience working with Azure network services (ex. network security group rules, virtual networks)Some experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning is preferred.EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: University or post-graduate degreeStrong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)Software development experience preferred.7+ years relevant experienceWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fift- LocationLondon, ON
