Develop high-quality designs for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems that meet project timelines and deliverables. ? Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC-related software to create precise mechanical system designs. ? Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project delivery. ? Provide mentorship to junior team members and seek guidance from senior staff for ongoing development. ? Reference and apply relevant codes and standards in all designs. ? Communicate technical requirements effectively through reports and client interactions. ? Conduct site visits and assist with field reviews as needed. Qualifications ? EIT, P.Eng., or Professional Technologist designation (EGBC or ASTTBC). ? Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design (HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection). ? Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; experience with Revit, IESve, or HAP is an asset. ? Strong knowledge of Building Codes related to mechanical systems. ? Sustainable design certification (LEED, Passive House) is a plus. ? Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. ?
