Job Title: Arborist/Climber Location: Nanaimo serving Vancouver Island and surrounding areas Company: All The Above Tree Service Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Arborist/Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in tree climbing, pruning, and removal, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. You will work on residential, commercial, and municipal projects, ensuring the highest standards of tree care. Key Responsibilities: * Perform tree climbing for pruning, removal, and other arboriculture tasks. * Safely operate chainsaws, ropes, rigging systems, and other equipment. * Conduct pre-climb assessments to ensure safe work practices. * Maintain and inspect tools and equipment. * Provide excellent customer service and communicate with clients as needed. * Follow industry safety standards and company procedures. Qualifications: * Proven experience as an arborist or tree climber. * Proficiency in tree climbing techniques and safe rigging practices. * Familiarity with chainsaws, stump grinders, and other arborist equipment. * Knowledge of tree species, pruning methods, and tree health care. * ISA certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain. * Valid driver?s license (required).
