*Job Overview*
We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated, and proactive Office Manager/Dispatcher for the CMAW 1735 office, who can work efficiently through a range of administration, financial, and managerial tasks. The office is located downtown Prince Rupert on the 2nd floor, sharing facilities with other local unions.
The ideal candidate will have strong values towards unionization and working in a union setting.
The candidate will start off at full time, be trained by the staff they are succeeding, and wage will be based on our union collective agreements, and scale with performance and time.

Paid Holidays.
*Responsibilities Include but not limited to:*
* Dispatching members to work
* Bookkeeping
* Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
* Months End, Years End
* General Office Administration
* Handling Contractor Remittances
* Membership file tracking, updating
* Apprenticeship tracking
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with membership and contractors, and various union associates
* Other duties as assigned, or needed by the local
*Qualifications*
* 2+ Years in Administration.
* Experience with dispatching considered an asset.
* Experience with union structure and collective agreements is also considered an asset.
* Proven experience in an office management or similar role with strong clerical skills.
* Familiarity with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
* Experience in payroll processing.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and prioritize them accordingly.
* Implementing and maintaining procedures and administrative systems.
* Proficient in using phone systems with a professional demeanor in all communications.
* Ability to maintain multiple dispatch boards, and follow the dispatch rule system.
* Familiar with creating Month and Year End reports.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.90-$38.54 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
