*Job Summary* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist / resident Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, focusing on enhancing mobility and quality of life. The Physiotherapist will work closely with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, in various settings such as hospitals and acute care environments. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs. * Develop personalized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain. * Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to facilitate recovery. * Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and preventative care strategies. * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress. * Stay updated with the latest medical terminology and advancements in physiotherapy practices. *Experience* * A degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution is required. * Previous experience in pediatrics or acute care settings is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices is essential. * Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. * A commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 ? 20 per week Benefits: * Language training provided Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Every Weekend * Monday to Friday Licence/Certification: * Physiotherapist (preferred) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-01-03- LocationToronto, ON
