Chongqing Liuyishou Hotpot was founded in 2000, which is a leading enterprise that specializes in managing hot pot chains and franchisees. Liuyishou now has expanded its business to more than 1,200 overseas units all around the world. In 2014, Liuyishou chose the greater Vancouver for our North America Head Office and opened our first restaurant in Richmond BC. In 2015, Liuyishou International Management Company (Canada) Ltd. was established to operate Liuyishou Hot Pot Restaurants across North America. Since then, we have directly managed a central kitchen and large-scale food processing factory, with over 25 restaurants and 800 employees in North America.
We are seeking an experienced *Human Resources Supervisor* to join the team. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience, particularly in managing HR functions within a chain brand environment. A strong understanding of North American labor laws is preferred. The HR Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing HR processes, ensuring compliance with standards, and aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
*Responsibilities and Duties:*
* Supervise daily HR operations and processes across multiple locations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with company standards;
* Develop, implement, and refine HR policies and procedures that align with the operational needs of a chain brand;
* Provide expert guidance on employee relations, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution;
* Ensure compliance with North American labor laws, staying informed on legal updates and best practices;
* Collaborate with department heads to manage human resources across different functions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals;
* Develop and implement training programs that align with company standards and enhance employee skills;
* Monitor HR metrics and analytics to identify trends and inform decision-making;
* Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, driving employee engagement initiatives;
* Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management, particularly within the chain brand sector.
* Other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
* Business degree/college diploma with a Human Resources specialization or equivalent combination of related education and experience;
* Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within a chain brand;
* Thorough knowledge of North American labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices;
* Proven experience in managing HR functions across multiple locations;
* Previous experience in a multi-location chain brand is preferred;
* Proficient in Google Suite or MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);
* Must be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders (verbally and written) in English and Chinese (Mandarin);
* Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities;
* Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
