*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team and grow advertising and sponsorship sales within an established territory. This commission-based role is ideal for a self-starter with a proven ability to build strong client relationships and close deals. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for print, digital, and experiential advertising partnerships that align with ELLE Gourmet?s brand.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years + media sales experience, strong communication skills, a passion for business development, and the ability to identify opportunities for upselling and expanding our market presence.
*Duties*
* Develop and manage a territory sales strategy to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
* Conduct cold calling to generate new business leads and establish relationships with potential clients.
* Engage in B2B sales activities, presenting advertising solutions tailored to client needs.
* Utilize territory management techniques to maximize coverage and effectiveness in the assigned area.
* Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling advertising proposals that meet client objectives.
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status using CRM tools.
* Identify opportunities for upselling existing clients on additional advertising services or products.
* Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our offerings.
*Skills*
* Proven experience in territory sales and management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
* Strong cold calling abilities with an emphasis on building rapport quickly with potential clients.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
* Experience in B2B sales environments is highly desirable.
* A strong interest and understanding of food, wine, spirits, culinary travel and luxury markets is an asset.
* Proficient in upselling techniques and understanding customer needs to provide tailored solutions.
* Familiarity with inside sales processes and CRM software is a plus.
* Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $75,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
