*Overview* We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate full-time Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care while maintaining a safe and efficient dental environment. *Responsibilities* - Conduct through dental hygiene procedures, including cleaninga, scaling, and polishing, to promote oral health and prevent oral diseases. - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations for maintaining healthy teeth and gums. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical and dental histories. - Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients, dentists, and other healthcare professionals. - Provide pediatric dental care, including establishing a rapport with young patients and their families. - Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment, adhering to infection control protocols. - Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to ensure patient satisfaction and loyalty. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. *Qualifications* - Certification in Dental Hygiene - Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families. - Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental software - Familiarity with dental office procedures - Understanding of medical terminology - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus - Strong customer service skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour Benefits: * Company events * Dental care * On-site parking Schedule: * No weekends Work Location: In person- LocationKelowna, BC
