Security Officer Titan Security is a company based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, established in 2016. We are a team of well-experienced professionals equipped with a broad spectrum of skill sets, making us qualified to deliver ?non-violent? services that are unique to this industry. *Duties and responsibilities* · Conduct regular patrols to maintain a visible presence and deter any unauthorized activities · Report anyone suspected of theft, vandalism, or violence. · Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including emergency situations · Ensure all safety measures are in place to protect the establishment, residents, and patrons. · Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises. · Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary · Incident report writing. · Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns · Other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. *Key Skills and Qualifications* · Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods · Strong observation and surveillance skills to identify potential security risks or suspicious activities · Excellent communication skills to interact with a diverse range of individuals, including employees, visitors, and law enforcement personnel · Knowledge of business and management principles. · Knowledge of basic security protocols and procedures · Ideally 1+ years of experience in a Security Guard or Customer Service role. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Evening shift * Every Weekend * Monday to Friday * Morning shift * Night shift * Overtime * Weekends as needed Work Location: In person Application deadline: 2023-10-16
