Seeking a Physiotherapist to work in our clinic located at Brampton.
Requirements and Skills:
To take on the role of Physiotherapist, you must:
· Be a registered member and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario.
· Perform assessments and reassessments.
· Expert and proficient in manual therapy.
· Empower and support clients through their recovery with the application of your hands-on knowledge, skills and abilities in the treatment of orthopedic disorders, chronic pain and with the rehabilitation and return to work of injured workers.
· Treat clients and enable them to reach their fully functional and work reintegration potential in collaboration with all stakeholders (client, treatment team etc.).
· Develop, execute and monitor treatment plans to maximize patient recovery.
· Ongoing communication and patient management to ensure patients achieve their desired results working with different kind of clients like EHC, Motor Vehicle Accident WSIB & private and related paper works.
· Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
· Possess a positive and professional attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Effective team player, must be flexible and show an ability to work independently and/or collaboratively with all team members.
· Thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment.
· Be dedicated to providing the highest quality of client care.
· Have strong skills in critical thinking, decision-making and analysis.
· Be empathetic with an effective ability to build rapport with patients.
· Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
· A minimum of one year related experience in the treatment of clients/patients with work-related injuries, MVA and/or experience in the third-party health care system, with strong FAE and Return to Work planning skills (desired but not essential).
· A passionate and dedicated team player who is committed to the challenge of working with clients suffering from acute and chronic workplace injuries and who is eager to be part of a multi-disciplinary team.
· A practitioner who understands the detail required for insurance reporting and who is not deterred by mandatory processes; experience in case management and communication with third-party/referral services desirable.
