Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing compassionate high-quality care to our animal patients and their owners. Responsibilities: - Assist veterinarian during examinations, surgeries, dental and diagnostic procedures. - Perform in-house laboratory tests. - Administer medications and vaccines under the direction of a veterinarian. - Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals. - Communicate effectively with clients both over phone and in person. Requirements: - Registered Veterinary Technician preferred. - Experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital. - Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team. - Compassion for all pets and their owners. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $27.00-$35.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: * Queensville, ON L0G 1R0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Education: * AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required) Experience: * veterinary hospital: 1 year (required) * veterinary technician: 1 year (preferred) Language: * English (required) Work Location: In person- LocationQueensville, ON
