We are looking for a *full-time optometric assistant *to join our optometry (eye doctor) clinic near Aspen Landing in SW Calgary. Modern Eye is located at the Shoppes at Montreux at 288 St Moritz Dr SW. Modern eye is a high-end boutique optometry clinic offering premium independent eyewear brands and advanced eye care services. We want someone who reflects our brand and is comfortable selling premium eyewear. Full-time (about 35-40 hrs per week, Tuesday to Saturday). Day to day tasks include reception and office tasks, greeting, assisting and pre-testing patients for eye exams, and providing advice on eyewear styles and lenses. *Experience in eye care (optometric assistant, frame stylist, reception) preferred *but we will consider those with relevant boutique retail or other medical office experience. Must have a great, outgoing, friendly personality with clear communication skills as this is a customer-facing role. Experience in an optometry office is preferred but will consider anyone with medical office or retail experience. No phone calls, in-person visits or faxes please -- apply only via this website.
