*Overview* IKM Testing (Canada) Limited started in NL in 2000 and is a member company within the Norwegian IKM Group of Companies. Established in 1989, IKM has become a Major Supplier of Mechanical Completion / Commissioning and Inspection services to both onshore/offshore industries in Norway, Canada, and other international locations. *Duties* * Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing. * Conduct account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. * Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. * Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards. * Supervise payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employee salaries. * Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency. * Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar tools for effective financial management. * Prepare detailed account analysis to identify trends and variances in financial performance. *Requirements* * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred. * Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in accounting/finance. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. * Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is highly desirable. * Experience with budgeting, account reconciliation, payroll management, and account analysis. * Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. * Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with team members across various departments.
