Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Dusty. Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer. Willing to relocate. Warehouse. Tasks: Install exterior prefabricated products. Install interior prefabricated products. Repair and service exterior prefabricated products. Repair and service interior prefabricated products. Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations. Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies. Screw, clip, glue, bond, weld or otherwise assemble parts and components to form final products. Sand, trim, grind or clean products into final form using hand tools. Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Operate machine to fabricate parts and products. Load, feed or place materials into machine. Check manufactured items for defects and conformance to specifications. Welding experience. Clean work area. Supervision: Structural metal and platework fabricators and fitters. Type of materials: Wood. Fibreglass. Mining equipment: Cutting machine. Instrument experience: Precision measuring instrument. Equipment and machinery experience: Hand tools. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods.
