DVI Lighting is seeking Junior Industrial Designer. *We are not looking for an engineer*. You will be working under the supervision and guidance of the VP Creative. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, willing to learn, and is a good team-player. He/she must be able to multitask, adapt to situations and problem solve, and also have strong verbal, written, and technical communication skills. Starting salary will be $52,000 per annum. *Qualifications* * Graduated from an Industrial Design program. * Presently in Canada and legally permitted to work in Canada. *Software:* * Solidworks 2020 * Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop) * Microsoft Office *Skills required:* * Concept development * 3D Modelling * Development of instruction drawings * Ability to iterate and learn based on feedback, from management, suppliers and customers A candidate will benefit from knowledge of manufacturing processes including: * Die Casting * Welding * Electroplating * Tubing and Sheet Metal work (Punching/Stamping/Spinning/Bending) * Glass making * Electronics & LEDs *About Us* DVI Lighting is one of the major players in residential lighting across North America. *How to Apply* Please apply by email at design@dvi.lighting with ?Junior Industrial Designer? in the subject line and include a CV and a PDF portfolio as an attachment or download link.
