*Role/Title: PLC programming* *Location: Cambridge, Ontario, Canada* *Duration: FTE* *Summary* As a PLC Engineer, you will be integral to the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated systems, focusing on programmable logic controllers and robotics, including Fanuc technology. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your role will leverage core skills in mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and schematics to optimize manufacturing processes. Your premium expertise in industrial maintenance and electrician experience will enhance system reliability. Additionally, relevant skills in AutoCAD and customer service will support collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality production standards within our organization. *· Min 9 Years of experience required.* *· 5 Years of experience with Rockwell Automation.* *Software skills: Primary skills of profiles.* · Rockwell or Siemens PLC programming experience · Siemens TIA Portal · Guard Logix Safety Programming or any other relevant control safety experience. · Robotics integration experience. Desirable Fanuc robot or any equipment · Servo application. Desirable Rockwell Kinetics 570 or any equivalent · Any Vision system integration experience · Familiarity with any MES systems *Control Hardware skills: Good to have skills. * The below skills are good to have skills, however the engineer with above software skills most likely have below hardware skills already or vice a versa.
