*Overview* Mental Wellness is a multidisciplinary counseling practice with a team of health care professionals that includes psychiatrics, psychologist, addictions worker, registered nurse, general practitioner, etc. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We are looking for a Registered Social Worker part-time. If this is something your schedule can accommodate, then I ask you to apply! Additionally, we are looking for part time or full time Registered Social Workers (with clientele, preferred) at our out-patient clinic in Saskatoon. We are a multi-disciplinary team growing together. *Responsibilities* * Assess clients' needs through interviews, observations, and data collection. * Develop and implement individualized care plans for children and families. * Provide counseling and support to patients dealing with various emotional and psychological issues. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. * Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress. * Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services. * Conduct research on best practices in social work, particularly in pediatrics and special education. * Stay informed about medical terminology relevant to patient care. *Skills* * Strong background in patient care. * Experience working with children, youth, and adults understanding their unique needs and challenges. * Proficiency in data collection methods for effective case management. * Familiarity with medical terminology related to social work practices. * Knowledge of research methodologies applicable to social work, especially in pediatrics. * Ability to navigate the complexities of special education systems. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and professionals. * Empathy, patience, and strong problem-solving skills to support clients effectively.
