*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety and handling regulations. Additionally, you will assist in managing billiard and snooker table operations and ensure timely service of food to enhance the guest experience. *Responsibilities* * Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. * Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. * Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service in accordance with "Serve It Right" guidelines. * Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed. * Adhere to all food safety and handling guidelines to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers. * Oversee the use and scheduling of billiard and snooker tables, ensuring guests have a seamless experience. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders and assist in serving food when necessary. * Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. *Qualifications* * Previous experience in a restaurant, and bar. * "Serve It Right" certification is required. * Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively. * Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential. * Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. * Must be of legal drinking age as per local regulations. *Join our team as a Bartender, where you can showcase your skills in an exciting environment, manage billiard and snooker table operations, and deliver memorable food and beverage experiences to our guests!* Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week Additional pay: * Tips Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking Experience: * serving: 1 year (required) * Bartending: 1 year (required) Experience: * serving: 1 year (required) * Bartending: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Smart Serve (required) Work Location: In person
